Pickup Schedule

Doorstep collection runs five evenings a week. Standard service excludes major holidays — communities are notified in advance of any schedule changes.

What Residents Do

A few simple steps keep hallways clean and pickups quick.

How to prep your bin
  • Bagged waste only — sealed, tied 13–15 gallon kitchen bags. No loose trash inside the bin.
  • Keep the lid fully closed and latched to contain odors and stop pests.
  • Stage the bin just outside your door, against the wall — never blocking the walkway.
  • Set out between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on service nights so the team can collect cleanly.

Keep the bin by your door before pickup, return it inside immediately after. Stage it at your door during the 6:00–8:00 PM window, then bring it back inside by 9:00 AM the next morning. The bin should never live in the hallway between pickups.

After your pickup — where to put your bin
  • Bring your empty valet bin back inside by 9:00 AM the next morning.
  • Store it just inside your entryway, out of sight from the hallway.
  • Never leave it in hallways, stairwells, breezeways, or balconies — it blocks walkways and violates fire code.
  • Keep the lid closed to contain odors and pests between pickups.
Missing or damaged bin?

Call us at (562) 353-1894 or email hello@curbluxvalet.com within 24 hours and we'll arrange a free replacement.

Tip: snap a quick photo of the damage and attach it to your message — it lets us approve the replacement on the spot, no second visit needed.

Not accepted at the door

Loose trash, recycling, cardboard boxes, hazardous materials, electronics, or any item heavier than 15 lbs. Please use on-site disposal areas for these.

Service may pause for holidays or severe weather.

On major holidays or during unsafe conditions, pickups may be delayed or canceled for the safety of our team and residents. When this happens, please hold your bags and set them out on the next scheduled service night.

Ice or freezing rain
Hold bags inside until the next service night — slick walkways risk team injury.
Lightning or thunderstorms
Pickups pause during active strikes. Resume on the next clear service night.
Heavy snow (4"+)
Service may be delayed until paths are cleared by property management.
High winds or extreme cold
Keep bags inside; loose debris and frostbite risk halt collection.

Check your community portal, leasing office bulletin, or resident email updates.
